It will take 3 weeks or so but it will be an ongoing process of learning/ being intentional with everything you do in your business, from the experience to actually photographing your clients. 

You’ll change things as you go. It’s part of the process.

Do I need a business that’s up and running?

No! You do need to know and understand how to shoot in manual before you get to phase 3.
